October was a strong month for our clients as they saw the implementation of their new sites, and the development of online social engagement campaigns that have driven both traffic and business to their site and locations respectively. Last month we saw Friends of the Alamo and San Antonio Children's Museum both launch a successfully designed and functional sites to further catapult their brand to not just existing supporters, but attract the eyes of new fans.

Anyone who visits this new website can count on staying for quite a while and adding a few more bookmarks to their browser. We're honored to have created the new web site for The Friends of the Alamo.
This site is meant to raise awareness of the organization's
efforts to create a permanent endowment for the Alamo complex in San

Gray Web Technology and Design has launched the first two in a series
of four physician group websites for Vanguard Health System.
The
MacNeal Physician Group and Lakefront Medical Associates websites use
Sitefinity 3.5's article control feature to display the latest news and
links users to the main article sections. Custom programming by Gray
Web Technology and Design has provided the site administrators the
ability to set up individual physician profiles with categories such as

Today we have launched St. David's Healthcare's new site for The Texas
Cardiac Arrhythmia Institute, or TCAI. This site utilizes Sitefinity
3.5's easy-to-update CMS controls such as the dynamic forms feature,
shared content items, and news and blog controls. The site also
makes use of JQuery to animate the sliding bar at the top which gives
site visitors easy access to St. David's other facility websites.
TCAI's new site provides an embedded Google map with a directions

Southeast Animal Hospital located in San Antonio, TX has gotten online. Sure they've had a website, but they've gotten social with the creation of their new Facebook page. Gray Web has recently partnered with the Louise H. Batz Hospital
Awareness Fund in order to further promote and bring attention to the
need for family/patient awareness during their visits and stays in
hospitals. Currently 550 people die a day from preventable medical
errors, which brings the yearly total to approximately 220,000 people,
making it the 3rd largest cause of death in the U.S. These are people
falling victim to preventable errors that occur daily due to lack of
understanding lack of good questions.

In a previous post we noted that Taryn Kail had joined the membership
board for the San Antonio American Advertising Federation. As a company

The new Saint Vincent Hospital website has launched as of Monday, June 15. As a part of a much larger project for Vanguard Health Systems, the Saint Vincent Hospital's site provides a wealth of information for patients, visitors and health care professionals.
The website features an EBSCO Health Library, dynamic forms, Find a Physician search feature and employment search. Google Maps was integrated into the site, providing the viewer with a choice to see either the main hospitals or Saint Vincent Hospitals satellite offices and find quick driving directions to each facility.
